It was cold. Very few visitors in the park, now that the holidays have ended. The more I shoot there I believe that “less is more” is a better philosophy for compositions.
It lasts but a moment, and this morning, out the back door, it struck one Joshua Tree, one leafless-winterized tree.

The winter light has been clear and bluer this January. Or seems that way.
Visited the park yesterday with friends. It was cool, bright light, and lots and lots of visitors from around the world. All images, of course, taken with the Fujifilm X-Pro1. Used Photoshop to post process, and Nik software plugins to modify. To taste. Happy New Year.
